Laguna Beach Elopement Spots
When it comes to intimate elopements, the California coast saves no expense for breathtaking views. Whether you want a ceremony on top of the world or the sand beneath your toes, Laguna Beach has a spot reserved just for you. Today I’ll share two of my favorite spots to shoot elopements in Laguna that could take your breath away from the first moment you set your eyes on it.
Our first location is going to give you one of the best golden hour views in all of coastal California. Top of the World provides soft dreamy scenes right out of a fairytale, providing you the natural rolling hills of Laguna Beach as well as the vast emptiness of the Pacific Ocean as it stretches off into the horizon. With a choice supply of trails surrounded by shin high shrubbery, it is the perfect location for an intimate elopement ceremony. Peak time would be between 6-7pm to get the perfect combination of soft blues and golden yellow rays. As a popular active hiking spot plan accordingly to avoid foot traffic.

With more than a handful of beautiful beaches to choose from, narrowing it down to a choice can be the most difficult part of a decision. My personal go to has always been Tablerock Beach. A local gem, Tablerock has one of the most beautiful sunset views in all of California. It also has a small and close shore break. If you’re not afraid to get your feet a little wet, it can provide some of the most cinematically beautiful pictures Laguna Beach can provide. On weekdays this little hide away has little to no foot traffic and can be perfect for that intimate moment. The best time to shoot here is between 6:30-7pm, right when the golden rays of the California sun will backlight you and give a subtle but beautiful glow to you and your partner.
